To start with iOS development you will need a lot of tools in daily basis. Let’s the most important ones according to my daily routine as an iOS Developer:

Xcode

This is the most important tool or as we call it “IDE” that you need to use in order to develop native iOS applications.

Xcode includes everything developers need to create applications for Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch. Xcode provides developers a unified workflow for user interface design, coding, testing and debugging.

Sourcetree

A Git GUI that offers a visual representation of your repositories. Sourcetree is a free Git client for Windows and Mac.

Most of the companies (and private projects) host their repositories to GitHub and GitLab. Sourcetree fully supports those platforms and it has a very friendly interface to use. A lot of people prefer the command line for their Git actions, but if you like a user interface instead of commands, this is one of the most used and famous tools for versioning.
